Check out the 360 degree image of the cockpit of the Enola Gay, the B-29 aircraft that the dropped the atomic bomb on Hiroshima. Be sure to pan around and use the zoom feature as well. Interesting stuff, right there.

  2. The Air Force had an old B-29 on static display on the campus of the Air University at Maxwell AFB in Montgomery, Alabama. The lower cockpit hatch had been removed so you could climb up and in; it’s about as roomy as an old Simca or Renault. I can’t imagine flying 12 hours in one, with only a nuclear blast to relieve the boredom.
