I hate the idea that celebrities get a different sort of trial than the rest of us schlomos. I don’t know if there is any way around it except for, as you said, a judge who won’t give in. It goes beyond a trial and into other areas. Like, why is the political opinion of a celebrity (ie: Janeane Garafalo) more significant than those of others. I think the answer lies in the fact that too many of the schlomos are starstruck and celebrity obsessed. I am certain that I wont care what happens in this trial except that normal justice is done.

I believe that the judge KNOWS what he’s walking into and I don’t think he intends to take any shit. Lance Ito blew the OJ trial by being a weak judge. I think this one just might have a set of balls.

I’m with you on this one Jim. This is just over the top. I hope the Judge sticks to guns on this one.

And I also wish the MSM would just back off. For cryin’ out loud…….but then again, people in hell want ice water!
