When I moved here, I sat in front of the gas pumps and waited for someone to come out and pump my gas until I finally got fed up and went inside. When I was told that I was expected to pump my own gas, I had to get someone to tutor me in the proper procedure because I, frankly, didn't have a clue. Pumping your own gas sucks. I also hate salad bars, for the same reason. When I go to a restaurant, I expect someone else to make my salad. If I had wanted to make my own damn salad, I'd have stayed home.
