Hell— ANYBODY can play guitar like Johnny Cash. You need to know only three chords to do most of his stuff. With five chords, you can do it ALL.

Still, I loved his music.

You are right on the money regarding “Walk the Line”… The movie was wonderful and I enjoyed every moment. Although, I do believe Reese Witherspoon was a lot cuter than June Carter… but that’s beside the point… Phoenix did Cash justice. I would go and see it again in a heart-beat…

Johnny Cash… was the voice of rebellion that altered the face of music. He was a rebel and an icon that many others and I will never forget….

I have really been wanting to see this, but was waiting for a Cash fan to let me know if it would piss me off.

My recent visit to Memphis Sun Records, was amazing to me not because of Elvis, but because of Mr. Cash..that was the reason I went…

I was not aware of the loss of his sibling until about 2 years ago, and when I found out how…I was horrified…

I liked your “pedestrian” review (first one I’ve read; last one I’ll read) and did not know that they did their own singing, or that Joaquin was playing the guitar. Fascinating! Must see the movie.
