Day One, 2006.

Filed under: Uncategorized — Jim @ 4:29 pm

I have spent just about all of today alternating between reading Vince Flynn’s latest page-turner and thinking about how much I would like to find the guy who invented vodka and kick his ass.

That is all.

  1. Oh Hell, Jim, it could be worse – you could have been drinking bourbon last night, and your hangover would be exponentially worse.

Good on you for sticking to the clear booze if you’re gonna tie one on.

  2. Yes. Yes. Yes.

What the hell am I saying? I sipped a quarter-glass of red wine last night, by myself.

What I’m saying is yes, vodka is sooooooooo better than bourbon. Much cleaner, like the laboratory ethanol.

  3. I shall just sit quietly in the corner and snicker to myself… very very quietly. Hope the head is better today. *grin*

  4. Vodka hangover? I hate to sound like a commercial for Skyy, but I switched when I heard the inventor of it did it specifically to avoid hangovers. An inventor by trade, he drinks 2-3 martinis just about every night. Long story, but it really is a non-hangover producing vodka. Has to do with a patented filtration process. Take it from someone who is known to drink 3-5 6 ounce martinis in one evening (once in a while) (maybe more often than that)…
