I'm from Springfield, MA and I'm not offended by those who hate or are simply fraid of clowns. To be quite truthful I don't like some clowns myself because of their actions or remarks to the spectator and some just don't look user friendly at all. But the good Clowns are those you can trust and I see that in their eyes when I make contact. when I'm clowning I always make eye contact with a smile, if I get a bad response I quickly turn away and walk away. The fear of clowns has been strongly routed in the minds of others when thy were kids or seen a movie, someware some ugly and scary clowns were used for the theater. This discussion can go on for months and even years and many articles have been written on it. As a Clown I always respect someones feelings.

The last time I went to the Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Baily Circus,I could not keep up with three things going on in three rings at the sme time. This was in 1982. It was at the Frank Erwin Center at the Unoversity of Texas. Since then I have never gone to another circus. Give me a sporting event or a good concert and I'll be satisfied. But as for circuses,I hate them.If you have children, don't take them to a circus. The clowns are the biggest insult to the intelingence of adults. I would mutch rather go to a night club than a stupid circus.

OOHH my GOD!!!! I simply, just straight out, HATE CLOWNS.... They terrify me. When i was younger I would scream, kick and cry (i was 3 at the time) if my parents tried to take me to see a clown at the circus or at a park.
