Not a single light on in the whole damned neighborhood and suddenly here came this batch of super-tall “chirren” with flashlights, up our pitch-black front entry. Not being especially bright, they rang the doorbell anyway. And waited. In the dark. Listening to our dog growl behind the darkened, locked, door.

Minutes passed.

This is your brain on drugs.

Not one single trick or treater here… we’re in the sticks and the kids who came by last year moved during the summer. Heh.

Halloween has never been a something I really enjoyed.

Someone brought trick-or-treat candy into my job today, so naturally I ate about 9 lollipops.

Now my choppers feel like 12 billion year-old, recently-unearthed dinosaur fossil teeth.

Another reason why this holiday blows.
