I think you’ve all missed the point here. Kerry was taking a swipe at Bush, not the Armed Forces serving in Iraq.

Stay at school,study hard, yadda yadda yadda, or you’ll end up like the dumbass who commits his country and the “coalition of the willing” to the utter freaking nightmare that Iraq is turning into.

Jimbo, I must be too stupid to detect any humor — blotched or otherwise in Kerry’s last sentence. I even ran it through the Babel Fish translator (Ivy League English to Redneck English) and it still ain’t funny.

I talked to a friend of mine (the 240Z driver) up in Florida’s Redneck Rivera and he said before Kerry’s speech he wasn’t voting–now he will vote.

Watching Kerry “trying” to make a joke is like watching a dog walk on its hind legs. It:
a) looks unnatural
