I got hooked on 24 back in the spring, at the end of the last season. Spent the whole summer, fall, and up until January 3 or so catching up on DVDs of seasons 1-5, so I'd be "ready" when season 6 started a few weeks ago. I didn't watch TV for most of the last 11 years, but this year also got addicted to House and Grey's Anatomy. What happened? I'm a slug.

It always amazes me that older dudes who can probably re-solder the insides of Marshall amps can't figure out the red-goes-to-red, white-goes-to-white, yellow=video interface of modern components.

Of course, sitting on the bus watching The Kids Today send messages on their phones with their thumbs at 60 words a minute scares and frightens me.

I guess pretty soon I'll be joining the ranks of unfrozen cavemen with Jimbo.

Finally watched 24 for the first time a few weeks ago...but it was the DVD of season 1. Now I'm trying to find season 2 and all they have to rent is season 4 and 5. Figures....
I've solved the "Hooking up the DVD player" thing...I have a TV with it built in.
Talk about being just a tad lazy....

I watched 24 for the first time last year. I adore the gratuitous violence and the total non-pcness of Jack Bauer. It's fun. The more outrageous he is, the more fun it is. Then of course we get to bitch about the rest of the show which can be pretty sucky. (the writers failed Interpersonal Relationships 101).

All in all it's a lovely way to kill one hour a week. Otherwise I don't watch much of anything else except maybe football at playoff time.
