You can pronounce your name however you want, but if you’re a CONSERVATIVE, then you pronounce it the way your parents intended.

I wonder if she’s a conservative, upholding the tradition handed down to her (even if it’s stupid, it’s still a tradition), or a liberal, redesigning her life to her own comfort and ignoring the heritage of her family.

And yes, people can pronounce their name anyway they want. For example, Green Bay Packers future Hall of Fame quarterback:

Brett Favre — phonetically, shouldn’t that probably be pronounced “Faver” and not “Farv” ?

First of all, that video was appalling. ~shudder~ I can't believe peeps actually do that. Well, I suppose I can. Also, I don't have CNN so I barely know who these DoucheBAHGS are, but Su-ZAHN Malveaux, I swear, there was a Seinfeld episode about her, but my sources tell me she has since changed the spelling of her name to Malveaux from Mulva.
