Chillin’.

Filed under: Uncategorized — Jim @ 2:04 pm

I’m going to spend a good deal of the day (maybe all of it) just chillin’ and reading this most interesting book.

Interesting? But of course. For instance, did you know that John Wilkes Booth put together the details of the April 14, 1865 assassination plans (to kill Lincoln, and have his co-conspirators kill Secretary of State Seward and Vice President Johnson) in the afternoon of that day?

Yep, I said it was interesting.

  1. I read that book last year was enthralled from start to finish. I passed it along to 2 people who also loved it. I’m giving it to my son for his plane ride back to California tomorrow. Let’s discuss when you’re done.

  3. I’m definitely ordering this one. Thanks for the heads-up, Jim. I also grabbed the newest PJ O’Rourke. Oh and then of course I had to add other books to the order and before I knew it . . . whut T said.
