Yes, it’s a cartoon. I found it at The Idiom. I agree with Kid Various when he says, “This should be shown to every 5th grade class in America.†Although it has all the earmarks of having been made in the 50’s, it could still serve as an antidote to the politically correct, nanny-state bilge that is being force fed to too many children these days in the public schools.
I remember seeing stuff very similar to this when I was in grade school, during the Pleistocene Era. I also wish the schools would show the kids “1776” (the musical/movie with Ken Howard, William Danials, et al).

If you go to the actual YouTube site, the date of release is listed as 1948 (one year after I was born! Yeah, I know) Take some time to read some of the idiot comments. It appears that the “snake oil” salesman has succeeded.

Yep..this was f course anti-socialist propaganda..but it was as true then as it is now.
Politics is about control..control to advance the agenda of the politicians and as far as I am concerned most politicians are about like the snake oil salesman.
I always try to keep one thing in mind about a politician..they have to stir up shit to get elected..either a promise to the voters or exposing the incumbent as a thief or pervert or something. I just look for the hidden agenda and try to figure what am it will do to the country and in the past thirty or more years it is choosing he one which will do the LEAST harm to the country…
