Say It Ain’t So.

It is difficult to imagine anything more frightening than a former New Jersey Hudson County political boss being a heartbeat away from the presidency. Then again, the president whose heartbeat would keep him in the second chair is equally as frightening.

  1. It truly is a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World, my man. Unfortunately, Milton Berle and Buddy Hackett have not made an appearance, which, were they not dead, would be a pleasant, much-needed reminder that all of this is a seriously unfunny joke.

  4. Come on out Mike. Just be ready to fight against Fast Eddie and the Philly freaks.

As to Menendez…YIKES! It would be a match made by a parole board.

  5. Thankfully, it will never happen – Jersey is a lock for Hill anyway (unfortunately); and she has worked so hard in the primaries pitting blacks and latinos against each other – so as to hurt Obama – that a Hispanic pick for VP may well alienate the black vote entirely. She can’t take that chance.

Even scarier, though, is the rumor that Obama has offered John Edwards the AG slot in his administration. Edwards could be more dangerous there, without the check/balances of the system, then he might be in the Oval Office.

  6. Read that sentence or two and got so scared I clicked out of the article.

She certainly has poor taste in men, doesn’t she?

Sure fire way to not get elected, too.
