I hate people who litter. What are they thinking? There's someone who lives my building who thinks it's completely fine to just throw their candy wrappers on the ground...in the hallways! Yesterday, there was a trail of little candy wrappers from the garage, in the elevator, and down the hall. I'm thinking this is probably also the same person who left a trail of packing peanuts down the hall, in the elevator, and to the dumpster a few days ago. Oy!

They do the same thing here, and if there isn't an open light post it just goes on the ground.

I sometimes wish littering was a capital offense.

At the local Starbucks... in the store mind you... they have a basket during the spring/summer months where they package up used coffee grounds and put them out for people to take and use in their garden (coffee grounds are especially good for roses for some reason). Anyhow, you wouldn't believe how many morons use that basket as a trash can!!! It's not like there aren't plenty in the store - it's not like they are hidden and no one can find them. But no, people throw all their trash in a wicker basket that has a sign "free coffee grounds for your garden"... Sheesh!

Lovely. Next thing you know, peeps’ll be lifting up a leg and going peepees on it. In which case, spare us the photos.
