Wow. Talk about putting things in perspective. It all feels fairly sucky here with our political climate, but nothing like immersing yourself in an immediate post civil war time period and the assassination of a President to put it all in perspective.

Finished reading "Manhunt" a while ago. Now reading the book co-authored by the author of "Manhunt," which, although more of a coffee table book, deals with trial and execution of the conspirators. Lots of then-current news articles and the like. Good stuff.
