Surely that was meant to be humorous / ironic, right? The other somewhat funny, <i>but not so funny</i>, but still kinda funny anyways thing is that, in May, when the Vito Fossella scandal broke in Brooklyn, and I had written a nothing 2-3 sentence post about it, <a HREF="http://www.boudicca.mu.nu" rel="nofollow">Bou</A> left me <a HREF="http://www.haloscan.com/comments/eriquackers/4454371704916890617/#42999" rel="nofollow">a comment</A>: “‘…My first thought when I heard this? Heh. And NY deftly lobs it into the court of NJ.’ Let’s see what NJ hits back to NY.” I responded back to her, “Just you wait, Jersey never fails to disappoint.” I’m guessing that this latest thing was that volley. Amazing, innit? Like we're all a buncha freakin' Nostradamuses. I'm sure someone in Brooklyn will now confess to having their way with puppies and guinea pigs, or some other kooky stuff.
