When there's no more real news in our 24-hour news cycle, "reporters" get busy with fear mongering. Something FRESH! Hey, I know! Let's scare people with scary headlines! Everything is dangerous! Something COULD go wrong! It MIGHT be bad! IF the Earth keeps spinning, it COULD be obliterated by a collision with another planet! OMG what if we're hit by a planet full of OVERWEIGHT PEOPLE!!!!
