I grew up in CT, and ever since I can remember Dodd has been a Senator, though I cannot figure out why. As far as I am concerned, he and his elitist attitude have been pretty useless for the state.

Would I be foolish to think that the FOAs, “Friends of Angelos” names were picked randomly out of a hat? Surely the fact that one-half of a Senator Sandwich Dodd was chairing the Senate committee had nothing to do with the friendly terms.

That pretty much sums it up, what it comes to our Federal representatives, CT is a pretty liberal state and we have had our fair share of corrupt elected officials. Our last governor spent time in jail and I think we have 2 mayors still in jail.

I have concluded that once someone is elected Senator, they have to die before voters will vote in someone new. It’s like they all look at the ballot (those who bother to vote – one wonders why they bother) and say…

“Oh, there’s a name I seem to have heard before, let me vote for that one!”.
