		<description>I viewed these pictures this evening care of Sarah (TryingtoGrok).  I had the same haunting feeling as I did seeing Kim duToit's pics of Dauchau.  Although the causes were so different on so many levels, the waste of humanity that resulted was equally sad.  It should not be forgotton.

The video of the abandoned town was haunting - especially the amusement park with all the lights still on - but even more disturbing was the audio track that featured the echo of radios that had been left on as people fled. The sound was otherworldly; clearly they were on because people were worried about their fate and were listening to hear directions on what they should do.</description>
