Yes, we had lots of three H days (hazy/hot/humid) that give way to short nasty burst of rain/thunder/wind. I flew Continental alot a few years back when I was working on a project in Houston. I generally liked them, but the on board flight attendants were awful. One of them actually did the "Talk to the hand" thing to a passenger who was complaining about something. I kid you not.
