Just About Over.

Filed under: Uncategorized — Jim @ 3:25 am

The democrats want to wait until the provisional votes in Ohio are counted. Fair enough, but it appears that the numbers are just not there. Even James Carville agrees — at least he did two hours ago.

Several of Mr. Kerry’s big supporters, Dan Rather, Andrea Mitchell, Leslie Stahl, and Peter Jennings were obviously devastated by the results.

  1. Quarter ’til 4 in the morning and I want this thing DONE before I go to bed. Alas, it ain’t gonna happen because we need to count every vote…even if it’s for Mary Poppins. This whole thing is driving me crazy. Looks like Bush has both the popular AND the electoral votes this time around. I simply cannot wait to read the weepy editorials tomorrow.

  2. Fox keeps saying that they’re expecting a speech of some sort from Bush, but nothing yet. I’m holding out. I don’t work until 1:00PM, so I’m good to go for another couple of hours before I pack it in.

I can’t wait until I get to work tomorrow and rub this election in the face of several coworkers (most several layers above me who have been giving me grief for months). What, me gloat? You’re damn right I will!

  3. I heard that Teresa plans to drown her sorrows by purchasing fifty pairs of new shoes and browbeating her domestics. Bon Jovi and Springsteen have gone back to their gated, guarded mansions in Rumson to write some more tunes about what its like to be a struggling working stiff. John Edwards will go back to chasing ambulances and hoping that the rumors of the return of Hee-haw are true. Just loved that Junior Samples.

  4. Want a laugh? Go troll around in the comment threads at the Democratic Underground. Wear waders.

And they wonder why they lost. How pathetic.

  5. Pretty sad for the Democrats when James Carville is the “Voice of Reason.”
