My Mom, who is visiting, and I saw a couple kids in Publix today, fishing poles in hand. My Mom said, “Catch anything?” and the group of boys, probably aged 9-12, said, “yeah. We caught some bass. And a gator…” and then a kid reached in his pocket and said, “And a citation”. And then another kid reached in his pocket and said, “Me too…” We don’t know if they got the citation for fishing without a license or for catching a gator. We were laughing too hard about how they presented us with their citations. Not so sure their Moms and Dads will think it is so funny…

When the scandal erupts ,you deny it and say you’re investigating since you knew nothing until an hour ago even though you orchestrated it and were involved up to your eyeballs .A few months later you appoint a commitee of former Clinton hacks who interview no key witnesses and issue a report blaming some low level nobody for what was done Then after several more months you say it’s old news and a commitment of statesmen absolved you . Eric Holder lies for you . The media rolls over ,and says do it again Barack . The low information voter snores .

Ref #999. Was assigned to the old 902d MI Group, Bailey’s Crossroads, VA for four years starting in April 1970. Great assignment. I ran polygraphs for the White House Communications Agency as well as other folks. A whole lot of freedom to operate and investigate. Basically had a world wide mission. Our office was the second floor of a shopping center, next to a great bar named the Iron Skillet. Truly the good old days.

Re: Msg #982. Jerry, arrived at Bien Hoa in early Nov. 70 after you had left. Assigned to a team down the road from the HQ where I remained until January and then went to HQ up the road where I worked in the S3 section. Flew into Xuan Loc and Vung Tau a couple of times, and also spent a “fun” weekend in Vung Tau.
