Headed South.

Filed under: Uncategorized — Jim @ 12:48 pm

Heading south for the “Hysterics at Eric’s,” where I shall hang with a clutch of bloggers, who have become old friends. Denny, the only slightly younger half of the “Elderly Brothers,” will be on the case with his axe, as will Dax, and we’ll doubtless do a little pickin’. Oh, and a few adult beverages will be consumed.

Good friends, endless bullshitting, lots of laughs, some music, pool shooting, and even a campfire. What’s not to like?

  3. Hurricane eyes New Jersey!!!!!

Jim you are a man who plans ahead , who would have ever thought to go south to escape a Hurricanes wrath.
Good friends, good booze, good music , a tranquil setting …even a gator or two waddling around to the the rythym of multiple guitars.
Meanwhile back home in Hurricane Alley that is New Jersey, people are hanging onto street signs in hopes not to be blown away, torrential rains , gale force winds & flying deck furniture.
Dudley1 will be at the top of the mountain behind camp in Western Pennsylvania with binoculars scanning the horizon looking for the leading edge of the storm after it clears the New Jersey border…..Copious amounts of adult beverages are sure to be consumed while on hurricane watch. E-mail a photo of your deck furniture to me, I`ll watch for it as it flys by.

  4. Jimbo……No picture of your deck furniture? At least you were smart enough to stay at Eric`s until the travel situation settles down. Anyway I did not not see anything thing resembling deck furniture sailing by….did see something pink, blue with diamonds & stripes on it, figure it was either a wading pool cover or an old pair of Hillary Clintons bermuda shorts from when she was a college groupie.
Take care on the way home.
