Arizona.

Filed under: Uncategorized — Jim @ 5:03 pm

I believe the people of Arizona have a right to be protected from what amounts to an invasion and that, under the circumstances, the State of Arizona has a duty to act to protect its sovereignty and its citizens.

N.B. Anyone who uses the words “Nazi” or “racist” (or any word connoting same) in comments will get his or her happy ass banned.

  1. Now, if NJ would just follow suit. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Sometimes I crack me up. 🙂 Kudos to Arizona for showing more guts than the feds. We can only hope more states follow their example. If the federal government shirks its constitutional duty to protect its citizens, those citizens will do it themselves. What the idiot protesters don’t seem to understand is that Arizona is doing nothing more than enforcing federal law.

  3. From the David Harsanyi in the Denver Post, a taste of reality …”For the most part, the controversy we face isn’t about immigration at all. It’s about the systematic failure of federal government to enforce the law or offer rational policy. There’s a difference.”

  4. I’m with Arizona! I don’t really want to live in a desert, but I have to say, they do make the thought more appealing by appearing to have the guts to stand up to those who would prefer they roll over and play dead.

  7. I say they’re a bunch of damn gun toting patriots. I’m with ’em. Texas and New Mexico should follow. No way Kalifornia will get in the game, so Nevada and Oregon need to get in the game.

  8. I think they’re only coming into Arizona for the ice cream. At least that’s what Mr. Obama explained.

Also, I missed the news reports about the “inevitable” persecution of middle aged white males in NYC.

  9. Already our resident marxist, Menendez, is introducing legislation barring states from following Arizona’s example. Good luck with that, pal. Let him try stopping Texas or some of the other “red” states. God, we HAVE to get rid of him AND that other idiot, Lousenburg. Yeah, I’m sitting here steaming. Too early for a drink.

  12. This whole controversy begs a question. What recourse does a state have if the federal government refuses to enforce federal law within that state?

  14. I think it’s great. And hey – my SIL lives in Phoenix but is from Culican Mexico – she *totally* supports it… That should tell ya something. As much as she did to establish her citizenship (just marrying my bro was *not* enough thankyouverymuch). Illegals piss her off! And you should never piss off a latina. just sayin’ 😉
