Autumn Groundpounding.

Filed under: Uncategorized — Jim @ 4:58 pm

Yep, groundpounding by the House by the Parkway (South) sure beats playing Dodge ‘Em Cars and Trucks “up North.” I’ve been able to walk with an iPod for the first time ever, which is great for pure enjoyment, song learning and for maintaining a desired pace, but it does prevent me from thinking of goofy things to write about while groundpounding.

I guess I have to work on multitasking.

  2. The Oak trees this year have been amazing. Up here in north jersey they are the only trees with color on them and they stick out like a red thumb.

  3. I’ve been friends with your blog for so many years, and after all the trash-tawkin’ I finally come along, make a nice comment, and it barfs it back up at me.

    Dooshbag spam filter.

I complimented your photographic composition and asked if you were channeling Pythagoras’ Golden Ratio (which I could be confusing with a Fibonacci Spiral…or they could be related somehow?)

There is NO WAY, however, that that photo could have been shot in New Jersey.

    Dear Wiseass,

The photo was taken with my cell phone camera approximately 0.4 of a mile from my house in NEW JERSEY. I’m a regular Ansel Farookin’ Adams with a cell phone camera.

  4. Photoblogging. That’s the ticket! I mostly changed over to that a while back and it’s fun. Take pictures of all the stuff you pass as you walk. Look for the different things and then post ’em with the story. Instant blogpost.

Very nice looking place you walk by. And even better, you have enough roadside that you don’t have to dodge stuff! We don’t have any roadside for walking so no ipods allowed up here. Not if you’d like to survive the walk… LOL.

  5. Trust you to overlook the nice part of my comment, and just jump in, like gangbusters, with the whole “Wiseass” thing and unnecessarily aggressive tone. Fine, I take it back.

    Dooooooooooooooshbag.

  6. Gorgeous. Love the nice parts of Jersey. I wish the place was run the way this looks, rather than, say, the seedier parts of Elizabeth or Newark.
