Wish I had Been There.

While the country is being “fundamentally transformed” straight into the toilet, I think four minutes and forty seconds of Feelgood is a good idea.

Thanks to my pal, Brian, the Air Force Vet.

  2. The only thing I liked about marching band was the summer parade tour when we got to play Sousa marches. Too bad the band director hated Sousa in all forms so we did not get to play them much.

  3. I was surprised at how many people paid no attention to the music at all but just kept on shopping as if it wasn’t happening.

  6. I loved it …but then I am 70 years old & actually remember what Patriotism was all about. John Phillip`s Sousa is a forgotten man today but I think his music still has the capacity to stir the Patriotism & love for this country which was once so common….probably enough to swing the election for sure were the Republicans to take the cue.
Were I to see some Obamaniac`s to attempt highjacking this music as a way to promote Obama as patriotic ……I would shove a tuba or two where the sun don`t shine!

  7. Dudley1, I agree. I’m 64 and have had it with what’s happening to OUR country. Music like this still makes my eyes mist up. Transports me back to my childhood where parades and patriotic displays were the norm, not some abnormality. How far we’ve fallen. Thanks, Jimbo, for posted this!!

  9. There is one guy in a long sleeve blue shirt that is obviously trying to ignore what is going on. I think he is a spokesman for the DNC.
