Today marks the 68th anniversary of the Allied Invasion of Europe. Each of us owes the men who participated in that operation a debt that can never be fully repaid. Sadly, with each passing year fewer people are aware of its significance.


  1. I was thinking about this all day today and pondering the wonder of it all…how all those soldiers had the moral fortitude to advance against what appeared to be very strong forces…

    I thank God for them all and am humbled by their service and sacrifices.

  2. My uncle jumped off one of those landing crafts into a wall of German machine gun fire. He lived to tell the story.

  3. I must have missed the great orator’s words .If Sam Cooke were alive , he could sing about how The Messiah “…don’t know much about history “or any subject .His knowledge of economics is minimal . It is a disgrace that this offspring of two deviants is where he is .
