I Ain’t Never…
I found this over at Accidental Verbosity, and I had a bit of fun thinking about some of the things I have never done. During the ride into work, I thought that there really should be two lists; one comprised of things I have never done, but would like to do, and the other comprised of things I have never done and have no intention of ever doing.
Then I got to thinking, â€Yo, Jimbo. Don’t overthink the farookin’ thing. Just write a list of ten things, fer Chrissakes.â€
So, here they are:
I have never …:
1. Ridden in a tank
2. Used an ATM
3. Water skied.
4. Driven a tractor
5. Milked (or even touched) a cow
6. Watched a single episode of: Dallas, The Waltons, or Desperate Housewives
7. Been able to stay awake during the movie Gone With the Wind
8. Been arrested
9. Been transported anywhere in an ambulance (knock wood)
10. Gotten an Instalanche.
… dude.. don’t get me started on milking cows or Instalanches… they’re both over-rated…

Shoot, a tractor’s the first motorized thing I learned to drive.
Milking a cow is hard work. When I was little, my mom used to try to squirt milk in my mouth from increasing distances while she was milking. Which I just realized was probably her way of making me stand still so as to not startle the cow into kicking over the milk bucket.

I’m with you on 1, 3, 4, 9 and 10. But seriously, no ATM? Do you stand in line or bury it in the yard?

That was the one that got me. I first used ATMs before there were things like NYCE and Cirrus tying virtually all of them together.

Nope. I have never used an ATM, and I have written about it HERE, in a post that also contains a bonus photo.

Wow, I’m with you on all except #2. Ya know, for some strange reason, it doesn’t surprise me too much that a guy who uses the phrase “Mr. Template” doesn’t use Mr. ATM. I gotta go read your ATM post now. 🙂
