Colors.

Vets Day cartoon.jpgOn Veterans’ Day, when one thinks of colors, red, white and blue come to mind. Today, however, I think of colors in various shades of green and blue, sometimes khaki and sometimes white.

I’m proud to be one of the many who have worn those colors in the service of the country. As varied as we were then and as we are today, our having worn those colors created a bond that exists among us that could not have been created any other way, nor can it be completely understood by those who were not fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to wear them.

I salute all my brothers and sisters who’ve worn the colors and those who are proudly wearing them today.
