Thanks, Barack.

I am not a Barack Obama supporter, but I do thank him for one thing, and that is finally relegating Al Sharpton to the irrelevancy he has so long and so richly deserved.

Barry, I owe you a beer.

Note: As of this writing, “Reverand” Al is poised to pounce on a long-awaited grand jury verdict relating to a police shooting in New York City. Poor Al has been reduced to returning to street corner race baiting, but even at that he’s losing headlines to this pathetic excuse for a government official.

  1. A few things…

    A) Sean Bell was a drug dealer and not exactly what I would call an asset to the gene pool. I won’t say that he got what he deserved in direct proprotion to the “offense” he committed, because it was unquestionably excessive. I’m unsure whether or not he has fathered children, but for the sake of the human race, I hope not.

    B) Charles Barron is a quintissential douchebag. I’ve detested his sorry ass for years and actually opted to reject a guest op-ed he sent in to where I work due to its inflammatory nature. He once said, “I want to go up to the closest white person and say: ‘You can’t understand this, it’s a black thing’ and then slap him, just for my mental health.” (from here). Asshole.

    C) re: “Poor Al has been reduced to returning to street corner race baiting…” I do believe he also presided over James Browns’ burial service. Hopefully he will fade back into obscurity on a street corner somewhere.

Okay…this was long. Sorry. I was gonna get into why someone from Jersey would be reading NY1, but that’d be overkill.

  2. I think he needs to be called Al Jr.
If nothing else, that will piss him off to be compared to that idiot.
