Following the White House’s announcement of the firing, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid stated, “This is just another outrageous example of Bush’s Imperial Presidency. We intend to exercise our oversight function, and I am calling for immediate hearings to get to the bottom of this. I want the President and Rove under oath.â€
