Corzine Hospitalized.

Filed under: Uncategorized — Jim @ 2:45 am

Governor Corzine is in intensive care as a result of injuries suffered in a traffic accident on the Garden State Parkway.

A spokesman for the governor, Anthony Coley, said Corzine suffered 12 broken ribs and fractures to his collarbone, sternum, left leg and a vertebra in his lower back. He said the injuries were “not life-threatening” and there did not appear to be any brain or spinal cord damage.

In the meantime, Senate President Richard Codey has assumed the duties of acting governor.

Developing.

  1. Jesus Christ…what a nightmare. The part about the broken femur that pierced the skin brought me a little too close to the fainting threshold this morning.

Amazing, when one has such a busy schedule lined up before them – meeting with Imus & the Rutgers team, closing budget deficits in less than three months, a trip to Israel…there’s an old Jewish expression: “People plan and God laughs.”

I hope he has a complete recovery. And I really, really hope he was wearing his seatbelt.

  3. Recovery my ass.

How long is it going to take this state to recover from just the used-up portion of this snake’s governorship and those of all those other socialist governors we’ve had?

    Pales in comparison.

I’m not one to wish harm or pain upon anyone, and I do sincerely hope that the governor does get better – BUT one thing I DO NOT want is a pity party for this man that gives him license to rape us even further with whatever the latest version of socialist “healthcare” happens to be.

    Get well soon, governor.

  4. I am sure your blogging will be light as you burn many candles and camp outside the hospital while chantting for his rapid recovery.

  7. If Mr.Corzine was not wearing a seat belt as reported on the news ( fox news ) does the state trooper that was driving get a ticket ?

  8. Bass,

Yes, and he would be wise to simply pay it.
