U.S.M.C. — KEEP OUT.

Filed under: Uncategorized — Jim @ 7:09 pm

That’s the message sent to the Marine Corps from Stefanie Coyote, the San Francisco Film Commission’s Executive Director in denying the Marine Corps’ request for permission to film the Marine Corps’ Silent Drill Team as part of a recruiting ad on the anniversary of 9/11. Ms. Coyote reportedly stated that the film could be made as long as are “no Marines in the picture.”

Memo to Ms. Coyote and those San Franciscans of like mind: In the event something horrible were to happen in or near San Francisco that would require the assistance of the U.S. Marine Corps or any other branch of the military, you needn’t worry that the military will hold this against you. No, they would do their duty, because they are men and women with a sense of duty, honor and country, a concept, which appears to be foreign to you.

This is OK on San Francisco’s Streets

  1. Honestly? I’d have no problem in testing the latest and greatest nuclear devices in San Francisco.
California is no longer part of this country as far as I’m concerned, and it’s citizens should be banned from traveling within the US.
Long story short, F*ck them and the hybrids those worthless c*ckwranglers drive.

As always Jim, you can nuke this one if you think it’s too far out of line.

  2. My goodness. Those moonbats, who appear to have either shat or spread blood on The Flag, are definitely a vile, slovenly bunch.

The logic — an ad for recruitment into the Elite Leathernecks, with whom it is probably a great honor to serve [I’ve heard], but no Marines may be in it? — is flawless, don’t you think?

Surely when their lunchbreak is over, they will conclude marching and go back to their Corner Office Corporate Careers, in which they make six figures, further enabling them to buy such nice clothes.

  5. Let SF keep their smelly dirty hippies. I’ll take the Silent Drill Team any and every time. They are just amazing and I haven’t even seen them in person.

  6. I live near the Stupidest City by the Bay and I am horrified by this. For a city that prides itself on it’s “open mind” I can not understand their hatred for the military.

  7. At least the Canadians have no problem with visiting Marines. In the upper right of the photo, the RCAF Flight Team—The SnowBirds are parked.

    Semper Fi!!

  8. When the next earthquake hits SF, these same moonbats will be screaming for federal asistance in the form of FEMA and the National Guard. I suggest we send the Marines instead. I’m not sure what it would prove, but I’d like to see the quacks in city hall react.

  9. Some days I long for that earthquake that will split California from the mainland. Then they can be their own country, living with flowers in their hair giving peace a chance, until another country’s military takes them over…

  10. That’s okay, the USMC came to where they’re loved most & rightfully filmed it in NYC @ 4:30am on 9/11. They have also been filming the rest of the segments in the ad series here.

  13. If anything should happen to San Francisco, I think the Marines (indeed, ALL military) should simply stay home and let the ungrateful moonbats deal with it themselves. Then they can find out just how effective it is to protest that 9.5 earthquake that just hit them…

  14. I knew this crap happened when I moved out here… I knew it. But it still surprises me and pisses me the hell off.

  15. Why is it that San Francisco just sucks so much ?

  16. As much as I love Frisco despite all of its wacky crazy idiocy (it still has some wacky crazy lovableness!) — someone mentioned this but anyway — wouldn’t it be kind of funny if something did happen and SF needed assistance and the Marines got into a big huddle and decided, “Hmmm, ya know, they said no to us, so let’s say no to them and go help elsewhere.”
