There is nothing quite like a surviving blogmeet to remind one of one’s mortality. Ken and I logged in something like 1,650 miles. Needless to say the trip back from Georgia was a tad more difficult than the trip to Georgia.

I’m too beat at the moment to say anything other than it was one great gathering.

Gotta get some rest. I think I’ll sit in Mr. Recliner and pretend to read.

  1. To everyone that attended Helen, I have to say another great time with great people. As my friend Sam says – you can’t make this shit up !!!!!

  2. Always fun hanging with you, Jimbo, you ancient inebriate, you. Sorry to say…the Body Guard kicks your freaking ass. Why can’t you be nice and a non-dooshbag to me like Kenny?

  3. Hell, at least you are home. Me and sweetthing didn’t leave until this morning and we are now in an RV park just out of Lake City Fl. We will get home around noon tomorrow and it may take me the rest of the week to rest up.

I enjoyed seeing you again as well as meeting the bodyguard. Be sure you bring him to Texas next spring..hell, bring him to Homosassa this winter and I’ll take both of you fishing.

  4. If you’re fried, then you’re Southern, at least in an honorary way!

You and the Bodyguard just made my weekend. I love youse guys! And the git-picking was so sweet, too.

Can’t wait to see everyone again.

    Hugs to you and Ken!

  5. Glad to see you and Ken again. I wish that both of you would move south when you retire, that way it would not be a long drive for none of us. That Ken will make you laugh your ass off.
