Random Eight.

Filed under: Uncategorized — Jim @ 5:05 pm

My buddy Randy from Montana tagged me with a dreaded meme. The idea is that I’m supposed to tell you eight random things about me and then torment tag eight others to do the same.

Seeing as how I’ve already revealed my “eccentricities” and “five habits,” there’s enough “random” there to go around.

I won’t be tagging anyone, but if you feel you’d like to share your inner self with every kook on the planet with a computer and an internet connection, have at it.

  2. I would share but I don’t believe there are 8 random facts in my life… if there are, I’ve forgotten them. Heh.

  4. Why did you throw your post about Fancisco Nava down the memory hole? Was it shame?

  5. Jules,

About ten seconds after I posted it, I clicked on nj.com and saw that it was a hoax. Mr. Nava ought to be booted from Princeton for cooking up a story like that.

  6. I was born in Arlington Va.instead of Washington D.C. because of a bus strike.

I once jumped off a mountain in New Zealand with parachute – they call it parapunting, I call it insane.

I saw the Beatles in concert. The ticket was $5.00.

    I’ve performed two wedding ceremonies.

I’ve lived in seven states and three countries. I’d like to add one more state to my list.

Joan Baez and Grace Slick staged a “nude-in” to “end the war’ at my high school. A couple of my classmates would later be known for the Chowchilla kidnapping.

    I’ve kissed the Blarney Stone.

My favorite color is blue, but it’s been hijacked by moonbats.

  7. My random facts: This morning (as of 8:15 EDT) I cannot send or receive email; my site is down; I can’t even log in; I can’t get to most sites on my bogroll even just typing them in by hand; I suspect that the Chinese Commie Bastard spammers I’ve been slamming in my recent posts have something to do with all this. Or maybe my hosting service has been seriously hacked or is having a DOS attack. I CAN get to my main news page (Yahoo). So it’s selectively strange. Just so’s ya’ll know why I seem to be incommunicado.

Was that more than 8 random facts? I think I’m OK.

  8. Memes are the devil and though who send them are his disciples.

  9. So, a report about a conservative student activist being abused by liberals is newsworthy, but a report about a conservative student activist fabricating an attack at the hands of liberals is “dog bites man.”

It seems to me that by not following up your post on Nava with a retraction (and the amount of time the post existed on your blog is entirely irrelevant, btw) you don’t find lying conservatives to be a newsworthy happening. We seem to be in complete agreement. Anything said by a conservative is by default a lie, unless proven otherwise.

  10. Jules,
the asswipe (Nava) who lied about his assault SHOULD BE IMMEDIATELY taken out into the street and publicly flogged until he’s bloody and unconscious.
As far as the attitude your packing? Stow it somewhere, would ya? Jim’s about as fair and honest as they come.

    Peace.
