Vindication.

Filed under: Uncategorized — Jim @ 8:05 pm

Those of you who have been visiting for a while know that I farookin’ hate clowns. My unassailable and most excellent argument appears here. I am always flattered each time my views are vindicated.

A study conducted in England to determine the décor of hospital children’s wards demonstrated that children between ages four and sixteen universally disliked clowns.

That proves to me that they were very normal kids.

h/t to the Wiseass Jooette for sending me the article. (Not surprisingly, she likes clowns. Must be a Coney Farookin’ Island thing. Go figure.)

  1. Well, I don’t LIKE them like them. They just don’t particularly disturb me. I feed the alligators, too. I draw the line at crabs. See, we can get along.

  3. I don’t “like” clowns either, but like E said, they don’t disturb me to the point of insanity like Hillary Clinton does.

I don’t think clowns are at all funny, and didn’t, even as a child. I remember thinking they were stupid. Now I think they’re annoyingly stupid.

The WORST (as in “most annoying”) clowns are the ones who roam the audience before every Cirque du Soleil production, if you’ve ever been to one of those. We’re talking Grade A Annoying. Anyone know what I’m talking about? No? Fine then.

  4. Clowns.

I think of Judy Collins and John Wayne Gacy and Stephen King when I think of clowns. “Kiss me, fat boy!”

    I don’t like clowns.

  6. Yeah, clowns are just creepy. Mimes are mute clowns, and I totally can’t stand mimes.

  8. I never liked clowns. I always thought they were creepy and scary, and when I saw “It”, that just made me dislike them more.

  10. Clowns are evil. They have issues. And agendas.
