Rehabilitation.

Filed under: Uncategorized — Jim @ 1:32 pm

I keep hearing that, with the passage of all the years between the time he set off bombs in federal and state buildings and now, William Ayers, who is not sorry for what he did, has become “rehabilitated.” I assume that he didn’t go to sleep one night an unrepentant domestic terrorist and wake up the next morning “rehabilitated.” Rather, I assume that his “rehabilitation” was a gradual process.

Wait a minute.

So, that must mean that this year Osama bin Laden, also an unrepentant terrorist, is a little bit less of a terrorist than he was last year and that next year he will be even less of a terrorist than he is now, and that with each passing year he becomes less and less of a terrorist until one day he will become “rehabilitated” and ready to host a high tea somewhere in the Upper West Side of Manhattan .

Someone call O.J., the unrepentant murderer, and tell him the good news, which is that if he lives long enough he won’t be a murderer any more.

Who knew?

I did a very short post the other day in which I said:

    People do not change…
they only change what they do.

  2. Should our future president see fit to not prevent Osama bin Laden from stepping foot on the island of Manhattan, because bin Laden has been “rehabilitated” (gmafb), and the Upper East / West Side elitists see fit to throw a tea party for their renegade freedom fighter, I swear on all that is mine, all that was, and all that will be, I would do everything in my power to descend upon him with a rage unprecedented and a retribution most gory.

  3. Now….we here all this stuff about William Ayers, by the way a man that will have no influence on an Obama presidency. And it was noted, but now it has come to the point where there is no place in this election for Robo-calls calling Obama a terrorist, people chanting slurs of kill him at rallies, people calling him a muslim to insight that he is a terrorist through word association and republican supporters putting Obama’s picture on food stamps with pictures of watermelons, fried chicken and Kool-Aid. Even Rush Limbaugh is calling out Colin Powell decision based on race. Disgraceful!

This is not what americans do, not in this time in our history. The republicans have began to insight a riot that will divided this nation forever. Lastly, we must remember that everyone has skeletons in their closets (Keating 5, Gordon Liddy, Sarah Palin’s witch doctor of a preacher, the Palin family involvemement in successionist party and Trooper Gate).

These are not the values that inspire confidence in our leaders, they inspire hatred and dissent!

  4. David,

I was all set to take each of your arguments apart piece by piece until I realized from the e-mail notification of your comment who you are. Give me a call. We have much to talk about.

  5. Cool!I used to work as a Correctional Officer with Charles Manson and Sirhan Sirhan at Corcoran State Prison(Bldg# 4A4R)back in the early 90’s. I’ll see that Charlie and Sirhan get the good news!

  6. I wonder if the media would be as tolerant if a Republican launched his political career with a high tea given by, say, Timothy McVeigh.
And sat on a board with him, praised his books, occasionally chatted with him on the phone…until it became convenient not to.
    Then lied about it.
All while McVeigh stomped on an American flag and said he wished he could have done more to advance his cause.

I’m sure our imaginary Republican would be treated the same way as Obama, right? Especially if,say, he spent 20 years taking his family to Klan rallies they way Michelle and Barack went with their kids weekly to Rev. Wright’s Church of Hate…

    It boggles the mind…
