Vincent.
Seeing as how it is the weekend, I thought you might like to spend some time leafing through the letters of Vincent van Gogh (1853 – 1890). Many of them are exchanges between the artist and his brother, Theo. They cover an amazing range of subjects, from art to nightmares and depression, and several even deal with his bout with the “clap.†The main page contains a handy by-subject matter index.

Strange mix of other things on offer at the parent site. The Van Gogh Letters looked like an amazing piece of work.

Thank you! I’m a big van Gogh fan and have read many of his letters to Theo in other sources, but I really like the by-subject layout of this site. I’ll be over there reading for the next few hours and will blame you for my red eyes tomorrow.
